Staying The Night
Mindy had planned for Klaus to only be there for the evening, but the blizzard had turned into a storm. She couldn’t expect him to leave in that weather, so she welcomed him to settle down. She prepared the couch for him, considering she had one bedroom.
She prepared a meal for them, and they spent hours talking after they ate. Klaus told her about his time as a military officer, and she told him about her research. She eventually decided to go to bed, but it would be long before she was awake again.
