Surprise Awakening
A few hours after midnight, a loud bang rang through the cabin, snapping her eyes open. Her heart raced as she pulled the covers off her and shot out of bed. What had she heard?
She ran to her open laptop to check the security cameras, grateful that she had them installed. As her eyes danced over the footage, she prayed there was no trouble.
