The ranch informed Madeline that they had only gotten Starlight recently. They were busy updating her health records when Madeline and Suzy bought her.
They were kind and apologized for not informing Madeline sooner. They told her that if she wanted to return Starlight, they would allow it. Their answer made sense, but Madeline still had a bad feeling about all of it.
