He looked around, but to his surprise, the woman was gone. “How is this possible?” He returned to his booth and looked at the footage again. And yes, the woman was really gone. But Tom wasn’t one to let go easily. He had to see which way she had gone. He ran out of the station, but unfortunately, he was too late. The woman had already left, and Tom had missed her. He felt a wave of disappointment wash over him. He had been so close to finally finding out about what she was doing there and if she needed any help.
