Her Motives
During their date, the woman informed Tom that she was looking for information on his former coworker Jonathon. This surprised Tom, because he had suspected her to be the one doing something illegal the whole time, not the man who he thought was his friend. He was involved in some pretty shady business and the woman had tried to reveal his whereabouts to police so they could catch him. Tom was stunned that he hadn’t caught on earlier, but that wasn’t the only thing he was clueless about.
