Soon after it was written, the post was leaked into a Reddit forum dedicated to “dependas,” a term used to describe military spouses with an overwhelming sense of self-importance that sometimes overshadows their deployed spouse’s achievements while serving their country.
Unfortunately, many military spouses do little to dispel the stereotype.
