Smoochie got pregnant and gave birth to her own litter of adorable puppies. They all took on their mother’s looks of sleek black fur and beautiful eyes.
But then the Grants noticed something. Their dog had no idea how to be a mother. She didn’t seem to have a maternal bone in her body. She would lie down and let them feed but she didn’t do much else. But there was more at play.
