Artificial Diamonds
This lady realized she was buying an outdated and synthetic diamond when she acquired the ring she now wears from a car boot sale. Aside from the fact that she was purchasing it for $15 out of someone’s trunk, the fact that it didn’t appear like a genuine diamond also contributed to her reluctance to make the purchase. While it was a lovely ring, it lacked the fire and brilliance of genuine diamonds.
There was no genuine consideration put into the purchase of this ring by the lady at the car boot sale. Quite simply, she felt it was a lovely addition to her jewelry box. As a matter of fact, she thought it was a prop because of how enormous it was and how plainly false it was.
