The largest problem was that owning property abroad was a completely different experience from what she was accustomed to in the United States. With the foreign government expecting so much from her, it was far more pricey.
It was one of the most difficult endeavors she and her husband had taken on. But soon long, she would be able to claim the storybook home as her own.
