Worst Case
The noises came from outside, where a group of visitors rallied while the bear grunted. Immediately thinking about the worst-case scenario, he ran towards the crowd. The tourists had blatantly ignored the rules of the park about viewing animals.
They weren’t allowed to be that close to the animal. They should maintain a distance of at least 100 yards from any predators. The woman in this story happened to be one of the people in the crowd of tourists neglecting their safety.
