Perplexed, Laura stared down at him. She asked him what he was trying to achieve.
Looking up with a blank look on his face, he simply told her, “My legs are getting stiff from being stuck in the same position.” Laura rolled her eyes and turned her back on Malcolm once more, still unwilling to move.
He didn’t know what else he could do to win over this impossible woman.
