A Call for Help
Rachel’s breathing became rapid. She fumbled in her bag, pulling out her phone. Maybe she could call the clinic’s main line or even the emergency services if needed. But to her dismay, she discovered there was no signal.
She cursed under her breath. “Help! Is anyone there?” she shouted, hoping her voice would carry beyond the thick walls.
