Her mind raced, analyzing her situation. Was this some sort of mix-up, or something more sinister? Memories of news stories about people getting trapped in bizarre circumstances flashed through her mind.
Shaking away the negative thoughts, Rachel tried to calm herself. She took deep breaths, attempting to strategize. She’d need to find another way out, or at least draw someone’s attention.
The thought of being trapped indefinitely with the maddening itch was a nightmare she couldn’t fathom.
