Scared of the Police
Vincent turned pale as he heard the words “police office.” Rose frowned and asked him about it, but he got up and left in a hurry, not saying a word as he walked out of the door. Rose hoped that would be the last she saw from him. But not a minute later, the doorbell rang again.
