As far as Dave was concerned, the garbage truck was his fascination. Cars had always been Carey’s passion, and his toy basket was full of impressive vehicles. However, the boy’s interest went beyond tires and engines.
Whenever he waved at Tucker, the sanitation worker, he received a grin and a wave in return. While Dave was unaware of the sanitation worker’s intentions, he thought this was a friendly interaction.
He had no idea how wrong he was.
