It Was Thursday
The truck visited on Tuesdays. If Dave had checked the date, he would have known today was Thursday.
However, he was so absorbed in finding his files that he did not think anything was wrong. A few seconds later, Carey laughed outside. After that, there was nothing but utter silence.
