Whose Dog?
The dog stayed in the house that entire week, and Tom’s parents even went along with Tom’s story about Lucy coming back to life and rejoining the family. But they knew that this wasn’t true. They hung up posters around the neighbourhood in the hope that someone might know who’s dog this was. It would again shatter Tom’s hope, but it was the right thing to do.
