Eric could not help but smile when he saw the small lemonade stand. He walked up to the girl and asked if he could purchase the biggest cup of lemonade that she had. She was delighted by the officer’s order and introduced herself as Kimmy. As the nine-year-old poured Eric’s lemonade, he could see that she was doing her best to make some money.
She gave him his lemonade, and Eric could not believe how refreshing the drink was. However, as he sipped on his ice-cold lemonade, he realized that something was amiss.
