Policy Has to Change
Madelyn’s story has proven to be powerful, but will it be enough to promote a much needed change in the water park’s policy? There was no word on whether the park’s management commented on what happened to her or if they even apologized for embarrassing her the way they did. But she’s hopeful that they will implement more body positive policies so that water park employees don’t treat others the way she was treated.
