Extra Nurses Were on Staff, Too
Each baby was looked after by two nurses as soon as they were born, to check their vitals and make sure they were healthy. It is a common occurrence during multiple births for one or more of the babies to experience health problems or not live long after the birth. It was vital that these nurses checked on each and every baby immediately.
