Closing Wounds
An idea struck Sarah, and she proposed they visit their mother’s grave. “Let’s go get some fresh air, ” she suggested. She believed that in the presence of their mother’s memory, they might find solace and a way to heal the wounds of the past.
Reluctantly, Dr. Sebastian agreed, hoping it might bring some resolution to their fractured relationship. They walked outside in silence.
