The weekend had started well for the family. They had gone for a hike by the lake, and Steve and Mary enjoyed the relaxation. Their happy bubbles burst when Mary answered a call from her dad.
He had gone to feed Blossom and wanted to take her on their weekend walk but couldn’t find her anywhere. Steven felt his heart squeeze when he heard the news. He had never been able to get out before, and they had never had to look for her. What worried them more was she wasn’t wearing a collar.
