A Gift
“It’s for you,” Greg said as he held out his arm. “It’s a gift for our anniversary in a month, but I wanted to buy it early.” He smiled the old smile he used to have before the promotion.
He continued, “It’s part of a bigger gift, actually. Maybe I should just tell you about that one too.” Cindy was still suspicious as she held the beautiful diamond necklace in her hands.
