A Moment In Time
In 1853 the first railway station was erected over the escarpment of Dundas Hills. The Grand Trunk Railway took over the Great Western Railway in 1923. Later on, it was taken over by the Canadian National Railway. Unfortunately, there was a huge fire in 1988, and they had to close down.
The Canadian government had to fix the railway system and started by laying down one rail, then the next year, they laid another as well s an additional sidetrack later on.
