The Basement
It was the basement. She carefully made her way down the stairs and switched on the light.
It was damp and dark and Sarah couldn’t imagine what the Johnsons were keeping down there.
She noticed that one of the walls in the basement looked different from the others. She pressed against it and it gave way, revealing a secret room behind it.
Sarah’s heart raced as she stepped into the room, and her worst fears were confirmed.
