David had been hiking near the Burmese border, on a beautiful and scenic trail called Leaping Tiger Gorge. But while he was on that trail, he vanished without a trace. It was as if he had disappeared from the face of the earth. Chinese officials delivered the news to his shell-shocked parents, but something just wasn’t adding up.
