From age 4-to 12, I lived in Germany. I had no clue how seriously Germans took recycling until I moved back to the US. There were bins on every single street!

It was more than just a green bin. It was a large bin with sections allocated for green glass, brown glass, and clear glass, as well as sections for paper and plastic. It was intense.
