Yolander had always dreamed of being an anthropologist. She was born in the nineteen forties and was lucky enough to finish high school and get a calling letter to Havard.
Given her ethnic background and the fact that she was a woman, attending such a school was an achievement at the time.
She was elated to receive the call letter. But she wasn’t in school for more than a semester before she found herself in deep trouble.
